Getting a Werkstudent job in Germany often takes more than a hundred applications. For each one, you create a new portal account and type your CV into a new set of boxes.
That's about forty hours of typing. You're already working twenty hours a week and studying. So we do it for you.
Starts 15 October 2026 · Only 15 spots in the first cohort
Example of the weekly record you receive
You fill in one form at the start. After that, we update you every Saturday.
Everything application forms usually ask — salary expectation, earliest start date, German level, working days left on your permit — plus your CV and documents, all on this page. Send what you have now. If anything is missing, we ask for it once during onboarding, not in lots of separate emails. After that, you're mostly done.
A tabular Lebenslauf in the format German recruiters expect, and a cover letter (Anschreiben) that we adapt for each employer. Many international CVs are rejected because of their format, before anyone even reads them.
180 or 280 a month, depending on your plan — matched to your field, your cities, and the hours your residence permit allows. We save a confirmation screenshot of every submission to your folder, so you can see exactly what was sent and where.
What we sent, what replies came in, and anything we need from you. When you get an interview invitation, that's your part — the only part you have to do.
Werkstudent, internship, thesis and graduate roles, depending on your plan. Matched to your field and cities — not sent to every job we can find.
Not one letter with only the company name changed. German employers still read cover letters, and this is where many international applicants lose out.
A confirmation screenshot for each application, filed in your own folder. You never have to take our word for it.
We track your remaining working days and skip roles that would take you over your 20-hour limit during the semester. Your permit matters more than one extra application.
We tell you about tests and interview invitations on the day they arrive, so you never miss a deadline.
Every Saturday, even in a quiet week. You should never have to ask us what's happening.
Some services promise everything. We'd rather be honest with you now than have you find out in month two.
If an application form asks something you haven't told us, we ask you instead of guessing. It's slower, but it means nothing is sent in your name that you wouldn't have written yourself.
180 applications a month
280 applications a month
Both plans include
We start on 15 October 2026 with the first 15 students. That's how many we can look after properly. When those spots are gone, we'll put you on a waiting list.
To hold your spot, fill in your details and pay a €50 deposit. It comes off your first month, and you get it back in full if you change your mind before we start, or if we can't take you.
Questions first? Email us — we'd rather talk first than take a deposit from someone who isn't sure.
This is the only form you fill in. It covers what German application forms ask for — once we have it, you never have to type it again.
A small operation, on purpose. There is always a person at the other end.
Karmweg is an application service for students in Germany. We started it because getting a Werkstudent job here depends less on how good you are and more on volume and format — a hundred or more applications, each with a new portal account, the same details typed again, and a CV format nobody explains to you.
You answer everything once, and we take it from there. A German-format Lebenslauf, a cover letter tailored to each employer, 180 or 280 applications a month depending on your plan, and a confirmation screenshot for every one.
We stay small on purpose. The first cohort is 15 students, starting on 15 October 2026, because that's how many we can handle properly. Every application is prepared by a person, not sent out by a bot. Recruiters can easily spot automated applications, and that's why many good candidates never hear back.
We are not a recruitment agency, and no employer pays us. You do, which means we work for you — and we'll tell you when a job isn't worth applying to, instead of just adding to the count.
Yes. You authorise us in writing during onboarding, and every answer we submit comes from information you gave us. Applications go out under your own name and your own email address — nothing is hidden from the employer, and you can see every submission we make.
Trained people, not a bot. Our team prepares every application and checks it before it goes out. This matters, because recruiters can easily spot automated applications and reject them.
They're stored with access limited to named people, used only to complete your applications, and deleted within 30 days of you leaving unless you ask us to keep them. You can request deletion at any point and we'll confirm when it's done.
No. Where a career portal needs an account, we create one for you and keep the credentials in an encrypted vault. We never ask for passwords to accounts you already own.
Then you can cancel, and you owe nothing more. To be honest, reply rates in Germany are low for everyone — that's why the number of applications matters, and why doing it yourself takes so many hours. What we can promise is 180 or 280 carefully prepared applications a month, depending on your plan, and proof of each one.
We track your remaining working days and skip roles that would take you over your limit during the semester. But we're not immigration advisers — for questions about your permit itself, please ask your university's International Office. We won't guess.
Any time, and it takes one message. No minimum term, no notice period, no cancellation fee. If you land a job in month one, don't pay for month two — just tell us and we'll stop.
One form at the start (the one on this page), your documents, and a reply when we need a decision from you. You don't need every document today — send what you have and we'll ask for the rest in one go. After that, about ten minutes a week.
Anything unanswered above, ask here. You don't need to have decided anything to write to us.
Still deciding? Write before you pay. We would rather answer your questions than take a deposit from someone who isn't sure.
